*does a dance, feels accomplished* I recently entered an AMV contest for a con I'm going to be going to come the summer and guess what? I got third XD This was my first time trying to make one of these, but I think it turned out really well, all things considered (so did the judges, apparently. They liked something about it). I found out not ten minutes ago that my mom's dad now has cancer of the kidney. They don't know if it's malignant or not yet, but here's hoping it's benign.

For those of you out of the know, both my grandfathers now have cancer, and ironically enough, it's in the same place for both of them. My dad's dad has been fighting cancer for about three years now, I believe, so I'm sorry to say this isn't new. It's hard to over to my grandpa's house now. It's not that I don't believe he's not going to make it, he's made a significant amount of progress for awhile now, it's just hard to see him like he is; his shaved head and feeble body from the chemo just keeps reminding me that that could be me someday. It's a humbling experience, to say the least.

Hopefully, my mom's dad will fair somewhat better. Apparently what the doctor's thought was a cyst two years ago was actually a tumor, it's two inches wide now, but anyway, the point is, my Grampa Jimmy's a tough nut. He may be seventy-four, but he's about as active for an old man as you can get (this is the grandpa I went to Arizona with during Spring Break), so maybe he'll make a faster recovery and the cancer won't spread as much as it did with my other grandpa (who had to get his kidney removed and part of his bladder, if I remember correctly).

So, pretty much to sum up: both my grandfather's have cancer, and hopefully it won't spread in my mom's dad like it did in my dad's dad and he won't be in chemo as long. Now I think I'm starting to understand how Hughes felt with his grandfather...

I have no idea what D&D is, but it seemed like something fun to do, so I went ahead and took it. I can see some things, but...I'll let you decide for yourselves if it describes me or not.

As some may have noticed, I havn't been around lately. There is a perfectly rational explaination to this. Last week was band camp, and all was fine with the world. Then came the weekend and the hopeful introduction of Hohenheim. Guess what. My internet decided to pull a fast one and die on me (I'm currently borrowing a friend's computer if you're wondering). Worst thing though? The technician can't come out until TUESDAY to fix it. And we called Friday. Comcast, I f-ing hate you so much >_<* My compy works fine, it's just that I have no internet access. At all. So Hohenheim's going to have to wait awhile. I'm sorry Trisha-mun and anyone else who was looking forward to him showing up ;_; Hopefully my internet will be up and running by Wednesday and I'll introduce him then.

On a completely unrelated note, HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY CAITLIN! Since I more than likely won't be on tomorrow (stupid Comcast...) I thought I'd say it before I forget XD;;; 18, LEGAL *sends...well has no access to pr0n so...HUGS, LOTS AND LOTS OF HUGS*

*Hughes-mun puts on the munly hat of munlyness and takes over Hughes's journal again* As some people may or may not already know, I'm going out of town for the next three days to be the videographer for a camp my church is putting on. Basically all I'm doing is running around with a camera while 3-5th graders run around and then make a movie on it (which means I get access to a computer, which is awesome). Unfortunately, I'm not going to have access to the internet during this, so I'm afraid my pups aren't going to be around until Thursday evening.
